DSC recently completed a new 6,600 SF automatic carwash constructed of structural steel & CMU in Altoona, Iowa. Included in the project was a required 11,500 CF underground stormwater system installed underneath the parking lot and a 40’ tall tube structure tower, which is a staple of the Rocket Carwash design.
Rocket Carwash focuses on a premium carwash experience that provides features like automated conveyor belts, signature spot-free rinse, hot wax, wheel bright, and even ceramic coating, free vacuum use, etc. Rocket Carwash offers several different membership types, including an unlimited plans that allow for washes everyday, for one monthly price. They utilize 40% recycled water per wash and save 70+ gallons of water per wash compared to at-home car washing. Rocket Carwash uses NoPileup technology to safely load vehicles in the carwash, leading to enhanced performance, reduced risk of damage and higher reputation among customers.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held by the Altoona Chamber of Commerce on August 4.
Rocket Carwash is owned and operated by Danny White and Chris Erickson of City+Ventures, a real estate and investment company known for rapid expansions and growth-based companies.
