DSC joined Fareway Stores this week in Norwalk, Iowa, on the ground-breaking of a new 24,000 SF store that will replace the town’s existing nearby store. Plans are to open in early 2024. The new, larger store footprint will boast a modern look, with more natural lighting and improved aesthetics, better access and parking and energy efficiencies, such as rooftop solar panels.
Fareway has 135 stores in seven states with about a week away from opening their store in Bondurant. Also involved in their expansion is Midwest Quality Wholesale, a subsidiary of Fareway Stores, that recently purchased Webster City Custom Meats.
