Marshalltown High School Roundhouse

Dean Snyder Construction is currently in Phase 1 of a two phase project for the Marshalltown High School in Marshalltown, Iowa. A ceremony took place in late November to mark the beginning of a $8 million addition and renovation project on the Marshalltown High School Roundhouse, the school’s sports facility. Demolition of a stand-alone weight room next to the Roundhouse took place in mid-December and will be the new site of exterior wings connected to the Roundhouse.

The new modernized facility will include renovation of the current gym, locker room additions, a weight room, new roof, a more efficient heating and cooling system, and updated entrances. The Marshalltown High School Roundhouse was built in 1964 and has seen minimum updates since then.

Phase 1 is expected to be completed by December 1, 2014.
