DSC crews recently started on a new 9,300 SF with attached car wash Kwik Star convenience store located on NW 36th St in Ankeny, Iowa. It is set to be finished by the end of October.
Update from Superintendent Chris Sprouse: Vanderpool is doing the dirt and underground utilities, and they’re 75% complete on the dirt work and water/ sanitary sewer are complete to within 5’ of the building. Storm sewer and roof drains are 85% complete. ABC is the electricians and have the transformer and CT cabinets in place with the primary conduit ran out to the property line and secondary conduit ran into the building. Mid American Energy should be setting the transformer this week for permanent power. Walt’s Petroleum set the fuel tanks this week and back filled. Nehring is doing the foundation work and is completing the building portion and moving to the canopy footings on Monday. Cook Plumbing has set the sand in grease interceptor, piped it, and set the grease interceptor outside.
