DSC Breaks Ground on New Townhomes

MASON CITY | Developer Brett Schoneman of Schoneman Realtors is building seven condominiums that will face Pastime Gardens on the 400 block of South Madison Avenue. Called Willow Creek Townhomes, three of the condos will be two-story, two-bedroom townhomes of about 1,375 square feet and two-car, attached garages. They will rent for $1,200 a month.
There will be four one-bedroom units of about 675 square feet that will rent for $660 a month. Schoneman said the four units will be rented to residents whose income is below 80 percent of the low/medium income level for Cerro Gordo County.
He said the condos will face Pastime Gardens to the south with parking to the north of the building. High-efficiency utilities and clothes washers and dryers will be in each unit.
Architect for the project was Bergland & Cram of Mason City. Dean Snyder Construction of Clear Lake is the general contractor.
Schoneman said the estimated completion date is Nov. 1.
